Lyndhurst Estate Blocks, Erdington

Five tower blocks on the Lyndhurst Estate in Erdington, have been stripped of the previous unsafe cladding and a Wetherby External Wall Insulation System reinstated on behalf of the client Birmingham City Council.

The five “no fines” tower blocks (Stanley, Kentmere, Glendale, Fairbourne and Normanton Tower) where upgraded with an A rated system comprising, Stone Wool Insulation, Brick Slips in Cannon Blue to the ground floor and Silicone Render in various grey shades to the remaining elevations.

Engie were the main contractor on the project and Wetherby recognised contractor, Gaffney & Guinan installed the system.
